Period 1: Week 1

This is the day that all 5 of us have been waiting for.. We are flying off to Shanghai for our Overseas Placement Project!!! Come along with us as we embark on this amazing journey~~

Once we touched down at Pudong International Airport at about 6.15am SGT, the hairs on our skin stood immediately. The temperature was 3 degree celsius, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? 

At the airport, we bought a local SIM card (China Unicom) with data bundle of 3GB which costs 300RMB for the first month, and subsequently 100RMB per month thereafter. I would say the price is reasonable...

Afterwards, we made our way to Zhao Yuan Bin Guan. We managed to book a car that fits all 5 of us. The journey was about 1.5 hours from the airport to our hotel. We slept well in the car :)

Finally, we reached our hotel. This is a few snaps of the room that we are staying at. We slept for quite a while after we settled down. The toilet doesn't seem very appealing but its alright we can call for room service every week XD!

Everyday's journey to work can be quite a struggle as it takes over an hour to get to our workplace. And trust me.. YOU DON'T WANT TO SQUEEZE INSIDE THE MRT!!

We went to HOLLISTER to buy some clothes. It is quite cheap here although we spent like $1.3k RMB at one go. Aww snaps! 

First weekend in Shanghai and oops where are we? KARAOKE!! You gotta work hard and play harder my friends..
