Period 4: Week 10

HI
HELLO

So... 2nd last week.
Already starting to feel sad.
Can't bear to leave this place.
It's really good, living expenses not as high, not as stressful.
The only bad thing,,, I guess it's just the cleanliness.  LOL.

Okay. So.. this week.. we went to the zoo!
Ta dahhhhhhhhhhhh.

It's 40RMB per pax, but 38RMB if you buy online. -_-"
Quite convenient to reach there too. Just outside the metro station.
Explore the metro map to find it. HEHEHE.

Hi Jia Wei.(:

We saw quite a lot of shit. LOL. The pandas were literally back-facing us. #sad

The roar was... LOUD. Can hear it from far man.

Went through ups and downs to take this photo. Nearly fell. #opps

THE SCENERY IS BEEEEEEEAUTIFUL.

LAMA. Go find the chinese name. It's not to be revealed here. HAHA.

Fake elephants because we didn't get the real one. LOL.
The cute tickets!
It was pretty fun though it's almost the same the Singapore Zoo.
Maybe because it's winter season so we didn't get to see other animals.
Saw quite a few sleeping animals too. LOL.

BUT THE ZOO IS QUITE BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
And guess what, we kept walking around, looking for the map.
But the fact is, just at the back of the tickets, there's the map.
OKAY. LOL.

After the zoo was dinner and went grabbing stuffs for our return.
If only time didn't flew as fast.

So left with 1 more week.
Treasuring the time as best as we can.
Can't bear to go back, leaving so much heaven-goodness.

BYEEE.

Period 4: Week 9

Blinkkkkkk, and it's Week 9.
2 more weeks and we're gonna go home!
We didn't do much this week cause we were tired and restless.
Basically, we just go to work > dinner > home > sleep.
Hahaha, you will really feel tired and not moving in the later part.
CONFIRM EVERYDAY TIRED UNTIL YOU ONLY THINK OF SLEEP.

heh heh heh. Guess what's this.

Remember the ice tubes we used to eat when we were younger?

Can get them at C-Store that's near to the office!

Not forgetting roadside stalls!
For those who likes squid and rice cakes (I think that's what it's called), you can try this!
The person fries above both ingredients together with some mixed vege & onions.
Let's just talk about the smell first - IT'S DEFINITELY AWESOME.
Next... the taste. #excitedornot
The taste..... IT'S EQUALLY GOOD.
The squid and rice cakes are cooked nicely, not too cooked.
The pepper is strong, spicy and nice!
Hahaha, are you drooling already?

Oppsie, then go look for it.
We found this stall near the Da Run Fa of our office.

Okay, time to go explore more food guys.
Till next week, byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Period 4: Week 8

It's week 8 alreadyyy~ 3 more weeks till internships ends and till we fly back to our loved ones. One moment we were still adapting to everything - the environment, the weather, the language etc, learning how to answer calls, solving problems and all, and the next thing we know, we are going back pretty soonnnn. How time flies huh? We've definitely learnt and gained a lot from this trip. Things were not easy for us, but we continued learning and kept going and look, we're this far now! I personally believe in these (cliche) quotes, "Tough times don't last, tough people do" and "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

Went to the museum on Saturday and the museum is HUGEEEE. There were ALOTTTTT of levels. We didn't manage to finish looking at everything as they closes at 5.00 pm and we only reached at about 3.00 pm. But most of the art pieces were really pretty and interesting, especially the moving picture. Didn't manage to take pictures of all of it though.

After the museum, we went for dinner and had an impromptu KTV session with a few of our colleagues. Some of us sang our lungs out while the others played games and laughed till they teared. You can actually sing all you want till 6 am in the morning from 11pm onwards at the KTVs there. It's pretty cheapppp and the sound system is gooddd! *Thumbs up* But we sang all the way till around 4.00 am as some of our colleagues still had to work the following day.

That more or less sums up our week! *Insert grinning emoji*

Period 4: Week 7

It's finally week 7~ Work has more or less been the same, starts at 9.00 am and ends at supposedly 6.00 pm but usually we leave at around 6.30 pm or later. Just a little more reports or longer remoting sessions for some of us. But the days still passed by very quickly and in a blink of an eyeeee... *poof* it's finally weekendsss! Who doesn't love weekends after a long week at work, right? That also means, it's time to go out and explore Shanghai~ Went 城隍庙 and 田子坊 on Sunday with one of our colleague called  Meepo or Jia Qi but we always address him as "mee pok" hahahahaha! Bought our souvenirs there and ate Shanghai's famous local delicacy, 小笼包!!! Walked around 城隍庙 for awhile before heading to 田子坊.

Look at the number of people queuing for the 小笼包 *Faint*
All 4 of us bought these delicious biscuits as souvenirs. We almost cleared the shelf. Hahahaha!
小笼包!!! Yes, we bought 3 boxes and it's goooddddd! *thumbs up*

After walking around 城隍庙, we went to 田子坊. I personally like the place as it looks very vintage and pretty. They also sells thai milk tea there that were sold in milk bottles! We walked around and had some light snack at one of the stalls there. However, most of the stalls there are bars. We also saw a stall that looks and sells yogurts exactly like llao llao! Ohwell..

Audrey and Jezebel

To end off our day, we met up with Jimmy, San and Jaly for dinner at 大家乐. The food and milk tea was good so as the company. Talked about our loots and laughed at us for not buying from 淘宝 as it is wayyyyy cheaper. *Cries* But whatever it is, they are a group of fun and funny people to be with!

Dinner @ 大家乐

That's all for the weeeeeekkkk.
Lights out!
