 WEEK 5 IN SHANGHAI

Time flies and we are almost half done with internship! I am starting to realize food in Shanghai is quite nice even if it is convenience store food!

LAWSON CONVENIENCE STORE BENTO
Work might be tiring and stressful at times but we learn how to take a step back, look at the bigger picture and calm down. We treat ourselves to some desserts to reward ourselves after a long day of work!

MAGNUM HERE IS CHEAPER^^

Breakfast here is either some bun or bread or sometimes we get some drinks from our colleagues and we have a hot drink in the morning!

CHOCOLATE MILK TEA FROM Minmin! NICEEE!

Friday's we will find some place to sit down and have a hot drink and chit chat :D

CARAMEL MACCHIATO

They drinks here are really nice and we are all addicted to this bubble tea shop available around Shanghai -- COCO! Compared to Singapore's bubble tea shop it is much cheaper here and it taste so good! (THUMBS UP)

PEARL MILK TEA
We went to eat some Guang Zhou food and the soup reminds me of home :'(

We also enjoy going to bars and have a drink and chill~

Even though we are so far away from home but we are looking at the same moon. This is just a reminder that even though we are far away we still think of our family and they will miss us as well. Soon, Singapore we will be back.

WEEK 4 IN SHANGHAI

It is the 4th week in Shanghai and we are starting to get used to the life here. Everyday 9am-6pm working life might be tedious but the colleagues here are very friendly and AWESOME people to work with!

Flowers are starting to bloom in Shanghai as SPRING is here! The weather is much better as compared to when we just arrived in Shanghai!

过桥米线@RT MART

We also tried a street side store where they sell really delicious fried noodle and fried rice! There are really quite a few street stalls here in Shanghai. When we see how hard this people work just to support their family, it is really a chance for us to learn to appreciate what we have.

Auntie who was focus on cooking:)

WEEKENDS are our time to relax, chill and enjoy some tea time^^~

SMILEY FACE PANCAKES

Thanks to CY we get to eat some home cooked food even though we are at a place a few thousand miles away from Singapore! This meal was only complete at 11pm!

8-March-2014 12:55am.....It's time for Shanghai!! After waving goodbye to our families, we finally boarded the plane and off we go!! The plane's lift off flagged the start of our three-month intern ship journey haha so let's get this journey started....

The first week at Shanghai was pretty amazing. We explored several places such as the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Yu Yuan Garden where we see both the modern and the not-so-modern architect in Shanghai.

During our second week at Shanghai, we went to places like the French Concession and the Cha's restaurant. We tried several delicious food over there including some of the famous dishes at Cha's restaurant. Big portions, tasty food, cheap prices!!!

Week three is a lot more fun compared to the first two weeks. We went to a lot of Shanghai's well known locations to explore as well. One of which was Shanghai's famous restaurant - Jessie's restaurant. We also went to 上海外滩, also known as "The Bund", to take a stroll. Although it's like out third time there so far but we still enjoyed the scenery and air.
